Thanks to Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Radhanath Swami

Based on an interview with the patients of Bhaktivedanta Hospital, Mumbai, India --

One day, I saw a pigeon trapped between two walls and tried to help the pigeon. In the process, I slipped from the wooden stool and fractured my hand. I was admitted in Bhaktivedanta Hospital for the treatment of the fracture. Initially, I was worried but later was very much impressed with the services offered, especially the spiritual care provided in the hospital under the directions of Radhanath Swami. I am deeply impressed by the very sight of Lord Jagannath coming and visiting all the patients and I started attending the regular programs conducted by the hospital. I am grateful for the fracture Krishna rewarded me for saving the little pigeon. Ultimately I got to know how to lead a blissful life with spiritual wisdom. - Manoj Kumar Jain

People tend to remember God only during difficulties. However, just like food is essential for the body, similarly prayers are necessary for the soul. The morning prayers in the hospital at 10:00 am are like tonic for the entire day. I am grateful to Srila Prabhupada who has undergone a lot of difficulties to provide the path of humanity and spiritual progress to the people of India. The Bhaktivedanta Hospital is truly " A Temple of Health." I remember when I walked into the hospital for the first time. As soon as i came in, i instantly removed my sandals, as Srila Prabhupada was sitting there, so it felt as if i was entering a regular ISKCON Temple. The entire ambiance of the Hospital is so surcharged with love and care, which is so rare. This is all due to the inspiration of a Spiritual Leader like Radhanath Swami. The Bhaktivedanta Hospital is truly a Spiritual Oasis in the desert of today's world.
